Hello! Hope all is well.

Well, it has been over two years that we were blessed with our new Salon.

To think back when I first moved to Ohio 15 years ago, I see my life as a dream. Of course we can always complain about the economy or gas prices, but I stay happy looking at the bigger picture. I’m not saying life is easy but I am saying it could be a lot worse. I try to always share with my team at the Salon, not to get caught up in the daily grind. I share with them to truly look at the world around us and not to dwell on what the world hasn’t given to us but what have we given to the world.

People are always asking how I can keep a positive outlook on life when it is so easy to be sucked into the thick of it. I realized a long time ago that it’s not what happens in life, it’s how you react to what just happened. It’s so much easier to blame someone else and then act like them, but God always asks us to take the higher road to life.

That of course, is much easier said than done. We all know that it takes much more effort to
be good in life. In order to get straight A’s in school, you have to study hard and give up something that could
be fun. The rewards of course are a good college education and in the long-term having a better lifestyle than the
person who always chose fun and neglected homework. It takes hard work to succeed in life. This is something that unfortunately our culture is missing.

I was reading a book called “Rumors of God” and I would like to share some things in the book with you.
Hopefully it will explain why I feel so blessed to live in this great country. Did you know if you own a car, you are in the top 2% of people worldwide to do so, and that 1.1 billion people around the world don’t have access to clean drinking water? I stay close to these stories because it keeps me in check when I want to complain. Something inside says, “shut up you idiot, you have nothing to complain about”

Yes, things are tough and we must adjust and work harder, but we are blessed to be in a country that we have the opportunity to be able to do just that if we choose to.

Stay positive and look for the beauty….. it is everywhere!

As I reflect back on my life, and my career, a floodgate of feelings washes over my mind and my heart. I thank God for all of the blessings he’s bestowed upon me.
So many times in our lives we can become entangled in the struggles of each day and often overlook all the good that God has put before us.
When I stop and look at my life, I see a young boy arriving in this country from Sicily at just seven years of age. Having been very poor in Italy, it was amazing to me that I could have hot water out of a faucet, among other luxuries many people take for granted. It’s easy to overlook all that we are fortunate to have here in the United States that so many other countries don’t have.
My wife and I live each day in the spirit of gratitude—grateful for where we’ve been and how far we’ve come, for our success, and for the clients who’ve supported us as we’ve grown from a simple salon in North Royalton then a beautiful salon in Strongsville to the magnificent building we call home in Brunswick.
We’ve dedicated ourselves to helping the guests who walk through our doors discover, and appreciate, the beautiful gifts they possess. Just the fact that we are able to come to work each day, get to know our clients and share a positive message, fills my wife and I and our entire team with so much joy.

As committed as we are to promoting a relaxing, positive atmosphere, we’re equally dedicated to making the services at Esbi accessible to everyone. That’s why haircuts start at just $30.
We also have periodic prize drawings, like a big screen TV or cash awards, for our clients who refer their friends and family.

Giving Back
We know that we’re successful because of the support of the community. To show our gratitude, our entire staff participates in various fundraising efforts that result in nearly $40,000 a year going back to various charitable organizations in the area.
We’re passionate about what we do and want to share our success with others.

Esbi Int’l Salon at the Strongsville Mall Bridal Fair 2012

The Bridal Show was held at the Strongsville Mall on January 28th and 29th. Esbi Int’l Salon’s Team participated in creating the latest styles in Bridal Hair Designs that was displayed in the Bridal Runway Show. Also we did Up Styles for future Brides so that they could get some ideas for there up coming weddings. Esbi Team enjoyed participating in this event and can not wait til next year to do it again.
